Rashmee Gajra

Mother of a Brainchild

A mother of two, Rashmee was dissatisfied with the baby-wearing products available in the market during her first pregnancy. So, she took matters into her own hands the second time around by creating her very own therapeutic baby wrap that offers a cocoon of comfort and warmth.

You’re looking at the most comfortable spot on Earth! And no, it isn’t a cozy hammock, or a layered bed, or even a snug-looking sofa. It is a therapeutic baby-wrap that holds the baby close to the mother, offering a cocoon of warmth and comfort. And the architect behind it? Our very own Ar. Rashmee Gajra!

A mother of two, Rashmee was dissatisfied with the baby wearing products available in the market during her first pregnancy. So, she took matters into her own hands the second time around - delving into the science of baby wearing after the birth of her second child. What it resulted in was her very own baby wrap! “I started dancing with my baby, because I’d finally found something that was kind to us, met all my baby’s needs, and kept him close enough for me to understand his cues,” she recalls.

In the urban milieu, we have women carrying not just a child, but also a lot of other responsibilities. What Rashmee wanted to do was offer these women a way to take on other jobs, while simultaneously catering to their child. This led to the conception of Anmol - Rashmee’s brain child. An entrepreneurial venture that provides not just a range of products for new mothers, but also a livelihood for artisans and workers. And with that, she evolved from designing houses to redesigning households!
