Savitri Devi

My Supportive Mother

Savitri Devi encouraged her daughter to study hard and not get disheartened.

I want to tell the story of my mother. I was very upset because in my third year of graduation my marks were very low. I was afraid of not getting my first division for graduation. As soon as my mother saw my face she started enquiring about the problem. I had told her about it and she consoled me and said, “Everything would be alright, just have patience. You have scored low marks in the third year but the final year is yet to come. So, don’t worry. Try harder. You can still make up the marks and get a first class.” She also said that worry makes a person weak so don’t be weak and cheer up.

My mother is one of the most wonderful women that I have ever met.
