A Journey of Awareness

Moving from the U.A.E. to India, Insiya started on a new journey of life. Never hesitant, she has worked in different fields. She believes there is always a chance for new beginnings if we just trust in ourselves and take a leap of faith.

Born and brought up in U.A.E., a move to India was a surprising start to a new journey of life. Being married in Mumbai at the age of 20 brought new challenges.

My first experience with work came early when my father introduced me to the world of events, where I would help him organise Gujarati plays in Dubai and slowly started venturing into organizing fashion shows. With the move to Mumbai, my first job opportunity came through with getting a job at O&M advertising which was short lived as I was expecting my first baby. After the birth of my second child, I got back to work after a long break, at the age of 25. I worked with my husband in his interior finishing products for 3 years which helped me find myself. I met various architects, builders and entrepreneurs.

There was much to be achieved but my children needed my attention. So I quit work at office and started to work from home. My new brain child was Zahnaz suits and online boutique which made me realize how much can be achieved when you put your mind to it. I finally settled down to a profession I am enjoying. I currently run an events company with my two partners. A branch called Overture Sports deals in taking young boys to international grounds to learn and play cricket. I am also a part of an NGO which comes under the banner of Giants International.

I am travelling on a journey of new discoveries and truly believe there is always a chance for new beginnings if we just trust in ourselves and take a leap of faith.
